SilentScope // 二月 9, 2007 at 6:15 am |
Assassin, I go by SilentScope on WargameYAU, we talked briefly about my MRP.
I did do business with NAVSPECWARGEAR on eBay back in December. Since he only accepted money orders, I thought it would be safer to only order a couple IR USA flags before buying LBT gear from him. If the IR flag sale went well, then I would then order more expensive LBT gear. Over a month after he received my payment they finally came, about a month ago. I was very surprised, and they were genuine USGI, issue flags.
I got all sorts of excuses from him about why the flags were taking so long to come during the month I waited for them. Unfortunately my correspondence with him has expired on my eBay account, so I can’t quote what he said exactly.
From what I remember, someone saying she was his wife emailed me telling me he hurt himself in a parachuting accident so his eBay sales fell through. Then someone saying he was a friend emailed me saying the flags had to go on “deployment” in Afghanistan, so I would have to wait for them to find more.
I have no idea if any of this is true or not. I doubted it at the time, and I do even more now.
I was about to leave negative feedback for him in early January when I found a package from him in my mailbox with the flags. By then he had many negatives from other eBayers. About a week or so later, eBay ended his account.
So I got my stuff from him. Perhaps there is a small chance you will get yours.
You can email me with any questions about my dealings with him. I would be more than willing to help you out in any way I can.
Best of luck Assassin!

Hi,
I’m amazed by your Mk18, can you give me a part list of it ? (which metal body etc.)
assassin // 四月 11, 2007 at 3:53 am |
Hi twan, as I emailed you, G&P will release Mk18 soon. And from TW’s intel, VFC is gonna to make it too.
Mike Ju // 四月 19, 2007 at 3:48 am |
Hello Assassin, I go by the name of Mike Ju on arniesairsoft.co.uk. First off, let me just say I am amazed by your sheer dedication for detail from your gear to your guns. I respect attention to detail. It must’ve cost you a fortune to build your Mk18 and buy all your gear.
Now that I’ve kissed your ass (lol), I’m going to have to bring up a topic that will probably bother you very much. That’s right, I’m going to have to bring up the “Counterfeit” Surefires. DO NOT CLOSE THIS MESSAGE! PLEASE KEEP READING! Some of us do not have enough money to devote to airsofting and would still like to create a good replica of a Mk18. I would love to have a Surefire style light on my gun and continue with good trades. I know that you feel anything that is accessible to civilians shouldn’t be replicated but to some of us, airsoft is just airsoft. This is not to downgrade airsofting in anyway (it is my favorite hobby afterall) but to classify types of players. Some would love to have nostalgic real parts on their airsoft weapons but some really cannot devote $400 on a flashlight for their replica gun. Being one of the latter, and owning a replica Aimpoint, replica LMT BUIS, replica KAC RIS, replica Colt reciever, and a replica crane stock, I feel a replica Surefire would complete the deal.
Replication, I feel, is the true nature of airsoft. Afterall, you have those G&P goggles which are really just counterfeit Oakley A-frame goggles (those of us in the hardcore ski/snowboard industry would be furious if we ever encountered a pair of those on, say newschoolers.com) and probably have a replica Colt metal body with Crane markings. I’m sure neither Oakley, Colt nor Crane gave consent for their patented frame design and markings.
Furthermore, none of these items are really counterfeit. I feel a dictionary.com definition is in order. Counterfeit- 1. made in imitation so as to be passed off fraudulently or deceptively as genuine; not genuine; forged: counterfeit dollar bills. None of these items are used to be passed off fraudulently, merely to recreate. Your Chinese brethren (and mine, for that matter- 100% Chinese here) aren’t really pirates. The makers of fake Polo shirts, Nike shoes, and Lacoste hats are the real pirates. Would you call Guarder or G&P pirates? They’re really doing the same thing.
Anyway, I hope I haven’t wasted too much of your time and I hope you may have a different stance on the replication issue. That said, I EMPLORE you- I BEG you, to at least hint to me where I may find these replicas or at least tell me how I can find them on Wargameyau.
Thank you no matter what the outcome,
Mike

Hey man, I go by Agent47 on arniesairsoft.co.uk and your site kicks some serious ass. If you got the Crye Precision Armor Chassis you’d be a god among men.

Hi there, thanks for your compliment. i’m not interested in CP MC stuffs so Armor Chassis is not my target. But I do have a good friend who has a MC Armor Chassis himself. Enjoy~

no words, just deeds!! // 六月 11, 2007 at 1:56 am |
A buddy of mine and fellow airsofter like yourself, said I had to check out your site. I’m in the US Military and have been home now for about three weeks, until I deploy again.. In other words, I am, what your trying to pretray. I have to thank you for the humor, you made my day!! Thinking that there are people worlds away that want to be something I am, would make anyone feel good. However, being who I am, and being with the people I’m with, I must tell you.. wearing unit patches, is actually a crime! Not only against the laws of morales, but against the LAW. These patches, that you have no idea what they mean (and wont find it on any reference site) are respecfully earned by the people who wear them. People die defending what these patches mean, people forever tatto these patches on their skin, people will be put to rest with these patches on their sleeves. Sorry to say, you don’t deserve to wear those patches, nor those US flags for that matter. I choose the word “humor” because reading some of your posts, you never seen this stuff before you bought it… by buying the wrong pieces of kit and returning them because you found out it’s not exactly right..?? Let me enlighten you into something.. The US Navy Seals, can and DO wear anything they want. This is something that make the Seal the Seals! This means if I want to kit with 5.11 TDU’s I will, and actually do!! Just like that picture of the Seal with the Noto. Tri. Mount, he is wearing that because the kit fit him, and his way of operation. More examples, unless I’m not doing a chopper evac. I (or anyone else) would never come kitted with a Aqualung sea machine, or a tfss belt. It just doesnt happen. You bring the kit you use for that objective. So when your wearing dcu’s, sordin headsets w/ a IBH, with a SEA machine, a tfss belt, an outdated VIP signal strobe, how real do you think this looks in my eyes? it just looks like your trying to hard really thats all. sorry to say man, but it’s not as accurate as you or your friends might think. Money can buy anything, but it can’t buy you the title of a Seal. think again next time you wear those patches too, somethings ar just not right!! cheers

I am interested in the old style 1961A. What color do you have and how much do you want for it?
assassin // 十月 1, 2007 at 6:09 pm |
Re tony: I dunno where you from, if you are from the States, you can easily find it via online shop.
Re tigerfrog: Direct Action Gear MBSS is repro. All MBSS/RBSS are made by AI.
Re Jason: Sorry, no more old style 1961A, try your luck on ebay maybe……
Shadow // 十月 16, 2007 at 1:25 pm |
ASSASSIN,
Nice little collection you have here! Do yourself a favor if your into this kind of gear, and watch the ebay listings of a seller named XXXXXX picture your collection,. x7! This guy is not joke, he has some or the rarest mlcs/allied/lbt nylon in the world. From what I HEAR he has plans to sell of a “few” of his extra pieces. Sometime soon, I have no idea when. Ebay, and most likely yourself, dream of pieces like this. Thought I’d throw you a word!
Shadow- fellow collector/airsofter
jillian // 十月 25, 2007 at 12:38 pm |
- Shadow,.
Now someone seemed nice enough to delete whatever name you had before those “X’s” Looks like I have to watch what I tell people.
-Assassin,
I’m a fellow collector, but tend to stay extremely lowkey. Some of the things in the above post are very true. I’m writing in hopes to make a slight trade,. You seem to have a few of them too, and there is no doubt I have something you want. I see this in our both best interest. I hope to hear from you.
assassin // 十月 25, 2007 at 12:43 pm |
Hi jillian, nice to meet you here. you may contact me via email directly.
tyler // 十月 31, 2007 at 5:28 am |
dude get a life. airsoft is fun, but it is a game. [censored]
jillian // 十一月 5, 2007 at 5:51 pm |
“Tyler” now see, your confusing airsoft with collecting. airsoft is game, you couldnt be more correct, congrats on that observation. but just like people collect stamps, patches, or dishes, some collect tactical nylon. jealously though has the power to make people like yourself, act even more childish.
assassin,
please excuse my luck of computer skills but I cant seem to locate your personal email. I dont check your site here as much as I would like to, so please feel free to contact me at jillcross21@yahoo.com or point me in the direction of your address. thanks for your time
Jillian

I have to say that airsofters shouldn’t try and wear military unit patches. It just looks silly. It’s ok to collect them, NOT wear them. That’s my only problem with airsofters. Airsofters tend to go overboard on SF, SOF type gear that the game starts to get a little weird. Pass the word around.
V // 二月 20, 2008 at 1:24 am |
OK, no more wearing navy SEAL patches. Those patches are earned through hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. They gave up so much to at least be ‘badged’, and you guys dishonor them by wearing them. If I show these photos to my SEAL friends, they are going to be really pissed off. I mean, I’m really pissed off now, and when they find some skinny kid posing as SEALs or pararescueman, marines, whatever, they’re going to want to kick your ass so hard, you wished you never wore them. Terrorists we all hate, posers are still some people we hate as well. It’s not fair that they take casualties and wounds, and you get to go home at the end of the day with a few little welts. Don’t wear them.
tech // 三月 7, 2008 at 2:36 pm |
I have been trying to find some good pictures of the TFSS, and they all seem to be low res. If you have some extra time, would you mind posting some pics?
Reaver // 三月 18, 2008 at 11:54 pm |
Hello Assassin! I love your site. I also collect SEAL related stuff, and I would love to get a hold of one of those SDV-1 Memorial patches, but can’t seem to find them anywhere. Could you point me in the right direction? Feel free to shoot me an email.
Thanks! : )

Hi there,
I’m simply amazed by the gear you have collected. I too, am a collector, mainly of FSBE II gear. I was wondering if you still have an issued FSBE II admin pouch for sale (in CB of course as you know). You can reply using my email address if you are willing to sell one.
Thanks again and keep up the great work!
